This fountain is created by a delicate hand. The entire fountain, including the flowers, leaves, and base, are created completely of copper. The process of creating this item includes gas welding with oxygen settling. We hand apply a patina to give the fountain a natural look. Water has two starting points (in picture it may look like there is only one- but the 2nd is on the right side and is lower than the top leaf). The top leaf on each side overflows to continue the flow down its' side. Water culminates in the basin. From there is recirculates to the top starting point and begins again. Since each fountain is handmade, yours will be a one of a kind creation. Please allow for slight variations such as leaf position, number, etc. In all of our fountains, a 110v outlet is required for the quiet, long-lasting, powerful, adjustable-flow water pump that is included. All of our fountains are recirculating and do not need an outside water source.
